Terayon said a lawsuit filed against it by Adelphia alleging breach of contract is "without merit." The MSO’s beef is tied in with Terayon’s Oct 28 announcement that it would pull the plug on investment, upgrades and development of its CMTS product line. Kanaiya Vasani, vp of the unit in question, said she hoped to maintain a relationship with Adelphia despite the legal animus: "While we are greatly disappointed that Adelphia has taken this step, it is our sincere hope that through continued dialogue we can work with them to create a resolution for their issues."
