Irdeto has announced that it has partnered with video game development technology provider Harmonix for its Cloakware product. Under the terms of the partnership, Irdeto will lend its Cloakware security expertise to Harmonix, effectively protecting the company’s widely popular video games that feature premium music content.

“With Irdeto’s groundbreaking cross-platform Cloakware technology, we are now fully prepared to offer a complete suite of security solutions across all video game platforms – including the Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 – that help make quick, widespread deployment a reality,” stated Said Rahmani Khezri, SVP of Cloakware, in a statement.
