Belkin’s Gigabit Powerline HD Starter Kit has received a ‘Editors’ Choice’ award from PCMag.com, citing its fast setup, ease of use and recorded setting performance.

The Powerline adapter is based on Gigle’s GGL541 dual-channel anywire transceiver.

"The Belkin Powerline HD adapter is the fastest powerline device we have ever tested," stated PCMag.com reviewer Mario Morejon.

"Gigle is delighted that our integrated single-chip GGL541 media networking devices has contributed to Belkin’s success with their Gigabit Powerline HD adapters that offer five times the performance of existing HomePlug AV adapters at the same price," said Juan Carlos Riveiro, president and CEO of Gigle, in a statement.

The Belkin Powerline HD adapter allows people to reliably send HD movies from the Internet directly to the home theater system through the existing electrical wiring.
