Ex-Adelphia execs John and Tim Rigas can remain out of prison pending the appeal of their convictions, Judge Leonard Sand ruled Wed. Octogenarian John Rigas was sentenced to 15 years for his role in the MSO’s accounting scandal; son Timothy received a 20-year sentence. Sand also said that the retrial of Michael Rigas on securities and bank fraud charges should be heard by another judge.
