During the opening session of the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2012 next month, NCTA Chief of Staff K. Dane Snowden, CableLabs President/CEO Phil McKinney and SCTE President/CEO Mark Dzuban will discuss their visions for the industry as well as opportunities for the three organizations to align public policy, innovation and applied science considerations. The session, set for Oct. 17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon…Napatech, a vendor of intelligent adapters for network monitoring and analysis, will participate in the upcoming ISPCS IEEE1588 plugfest with its NTTSE and NT40E2-4 products. The plugfest is part of the 2012 International IEEE Symposium on Precision Clock Synchronization for Measurement, Control and Communication (ISPCS), taking place in San Francisco Sept. 24-26.
