Enablence Offers New Fabric Modules
Enablence Technologies is increasing the bandwidth capabilities of its MAGNM Multi Media Aggregation Node and TRIDENT7 Universal Access Platform with a new family of high performance fabric modules.?
MAGNM is Enablence’s fully distributed IP/Ethernet-based multi-service access platform purpose-built for broadband access and aggregation.
The TRIDENT7 is an IP/Ethernet-based system geared toward large muni-power fiber deployments by network operators and open access service providers.
The development of new fabric switching modules leverages core technology for deployment on both the MAGNM and TRIDENT7 platforms to help service providers and network operators manage ever increasing traffic demands brought about by bandwidth intensive applications such as IPTV, HDTV, interactive video and online gaming.??
These fully redundant non-blocking modules are optimized for bandwidth intensive FTTx applications where multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet transport links are required. They provide a 10X performance increase over the current MAGNM and TRIDENT switch modules, and can be deployed in any MAGNM and TRIDENT already in service.
