Discovery Comm is expanding its “Say Yes to the Prom” initiative, which provides high-achieving girls with prom dresses, makeovers and mentorships. It's collected some 1200 dresses for the enterprise, giving out the first 50 at an event at its Silver Spring HQ last week. Similar events are planned in Des Moines with Mediacom and in Chicago with Comcast. More details at
