Charter’s not the only one with digital simultrans. Time Warner Cable completed its all-digital roll out in Raleigh, NC, Wed, making it the MSO’s 1st market to launch simultrans. TW expects to roll out to half of its markets by year-end, and all of its markets should be digital by ’06. Digital simultrans is significant not only because it gives customers the best picture and sound quality, but it whacks satellite’s boast of digital superiority. TW will back up the digital roll out in Raleigh with marketing.
