Yesterday, Pace plc in the U.K. confirmed making an offer to Google for its Motorola Home business acquired as part of its Motorola Holdings deal (click here for more information). Google had put the division out for bid, with Dec. 7 the deadline for any proposals. Reports note that, given Pace’s size relative to Motorola Home, the potential takeover would be a reverse takeover under U.K. financial rules.
