SRP Telecom, a Phoenix-based core business unit of the nation’s third-largest public power utility, is deploying the Fujitsu FLASHWAVE 7420 Metro/Enterprise WDM Platform for datacenter interconnect and access services. The FLASHWAVE 7420 combines optical, Ethernet and certified storage solutions in a scalable platform supporting multiple protocols, including Enterprise Systems Connection (ESCON), Fiber Connection (FICON) and Fiber Channel.
