LB Cable acquired certain assets of Mallard Cablevision and SunTel Comm. The deal represents some 22K basic subs in MT, WY, ID, UT, NV, OR and CA. Daniels & Assoc represented Mallard and SunTel. — CSG Systems [CSGS] reached accord with Time Warner Cable of NYC to provide billing and customer care support for its Staten Island system. — Mitsubishi will incorporate Gemstar-TV Guide’s [GMST] "TV Guide On Screen" IPG into its N American DTVs and recording devices. Both cos already have licensing agreements in Japan and Europe.
