Taiwan-based CyberLink has announced that its PowerDVD Blu-ray 3D player software has achieved certification from the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), under the new Blu-ray 3D standard (Profile 5.0).

“We are fully committed to leading the way with support for all of the latest 3D formats and display technologies on the PC," said Alice Chang, CEO of CyberLink, in a statement.

CyberLink will provide a “Mark II” version of PowerDVD 10, which is scheduled for release this summer.
