Cablevision is launching another sports tier, this time it’s a package that includes 10 natl sports nets for $4.95/month. The "iO Sports Tier" includes Fox College Sports Atlantic, Fox College Sports Central, Fox College Sports Pacific, Fuel, GolTV, The Golf Channel, NBA TV, OLN, The Outdoor Channel and TVG Network. The MSO used to have a $4.95/month regional sports tier that included MSG, Fox Sports NY and YES, but it was abolished after an arbitration panel ruled CVC had to distribute expensive RSN Yes on expanded basic. Most of the nets on the iO Sports tier are new to CVC.
