Among her standout recent roles, Thomas-Taylor deftly handled the complex business affairs negotiations for Syfy’s “Defiance”—from developing the project to shooting the pilot and 13-episode series to all of the deals for the actors, writers and producers. In addition, her role as co-chair of the Professional Development Committee of the NBCU affinity group Black Professional Alliance helps NBCU’s African-American employees gain valuable professional exposure to other successful African-American executives throughout the company. Thomas-Taylor also manages the business affairs transactions for the recently premiered Syfy reality series “Deep South Paranormal,” and continues to handle negotiations for the net’s “Face Off” and USA series “Covert Affairs.”
