Cox Communications will introduce Cox Wireless in San Diego and Santa Barbara, Calif. and many of the communities it serves in Topeka and Wichita, Kansas and Northwest Arkansas later this year. By the end of 2011, Cox Wireless will be available in more than 50 percent of the company’s footprint.

Cox will continue to go to market via its wholesale relationship with Sprint. Today, Cox Wireless is currently available in Hampton Roads, Va., Orange County, Calif., Omaha, Neb., Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla., Rhode Island and Cox communities in Connecticut and Cleveland, Ohio.
