Corning Cable Systems will present its Ascend MDU system at the Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council Europe Conference 2009 on Feb. 11-12, at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Ascend system is designed to enable fiber-optic networks to be installed quickly and cost effectively into challenging high-rise apartment buildings and MDUs, which are one of the major residential architectures in Europe. The exhibit will also include Corning’s OptiRise cable assembly, which is designed to meet the requirements of MDUs where fast riser installation and customer connection are paramount.
