Sam Howe

Title: EVP/CMO, Time Warner Cable
Age: 50
Education: BA, Bowdoin College; MBA, Kellogg Graduate School of Management
Social Media Quotient: 5

Why Him? Howe is known throughout cable for his intelligence, his integrity and his success. More than all of that, he’s one of the classiest gentlemen in the business. In addition to overseeing Time Warner Cable’s branding and advertising in a highly competitive environment, the soft-spoken Howe also assumed responsibility this year for customer care. Beyond his company he led the creation of cable’s DTV Advisor Hotline to support the digital transition, at the request of the Obama administration. Cable’s contribution to the transition received praise from the Administration and the FCC. With Howe running the Hotline, this surprised us not at all.

Year Ahead:

Howe expresses it best, "It’s gonna be rough but there’s still tons of opportunity." If anyone, Sam will seize them.
