John Kim – Turner Sports
PGA.com’s Facebook facilitator John Kim has owned the site’s page by celebrating the perspective of a golf user—rather than a golf pro. The conversation is largely generated from user experiences, and the love of golf being the focal point—as it should be. Take his weekly editorial features centered around “A Quick 9,” which lets fans choose editorial content to be featured on PGA.com surrounding a chosen topic, such as top college golf courses, the best golf quotes or the best California courses. When last reported, numbers showed the Facebook page drove on average nearly 8K referrals to PGA.com and 17K monthly page views.
