Why Him? One of the most creative and intelligent executives in the business, Rose quietly has crafted innovative deals to grow the network by leveraging CBS College Sports’ content and other CBS assets. In the past year, he and his team have added more than 9mln subs through numerous launches. Since coming aboard in ’06, the former Court TV exec and Cleveland native has tripled distribution to 34mln (3Q). On top of that, he also oversees affiliate relations.

Cool Moment: Rose was on hand for CableFAX’s Sales Exec of the Year festivities when The Sportsman Channel’s Mark Kang (#100), in an acceptance speech, acknowledged Bob as his mentor.
