Why Him? Skipper oversees content in all formats for ESPN and ABC Sports television, radio, Internet, print publishing, wireless, broadband and enterprises operations. He also is navigating the sports powerhouse toward total platform convergence. One example: integrating all journalistic activities within a single newsroom that supports ESPN’s television, radio, online and mobile initiatives. His multi-platform strategy is paying off: About 70% of ESPN’s major ad buyers (spending at least $2mln) have inked deals that include one or more alternate medium.
