CAB’s hired Chuck Thompson for the new post of svp, ad sales, effective Aug. Thompson worked for CAB pres/CEO Sean Cunningham at Universal McCann Erickson for 3 years. "He was at the top of my list," Cunningham tells us. — After 14 years with CAB, vp, communications & production Steve Raddock has left the assn to explore other ventures within the cable industry, including video production (look for more details shortly). Cunningham and Raddock both called the parting amicable.
