The $375mln principal amount of the notes will be repurchased Feb 1 at 104.525%. Interest will be paid through the redemption date. — Sanford Berstein upped Disney [DIS] to "outperform" from "market perform," noting that all divisions save consumer products should show improvement in ’03. — Thomas Weisel believes VOD/SVOD can combat digital churn and DBS market gains. "The difficulty is predicting how long it will take to see the results because of the early stage of content availability, market pricing uncertainty and a lack of consumer awareness," it said. Weisel predicts that VOD success could help rejuvenate Motorola’s [MOT] and S-A’s [SFA] set-top businesses.
