White-label video-publishing firm thePlatform says BT is using its mpx cloud-based video publishing system as the central logistics system for the U.K. leader’s newest IP-based TV services, including BT Vision and YouView from BT. BT’s next-gen services include live, catch-up and on-demand TV on new IP-connected set-top boxes; the operator says the new system will scale to include other IP-connected devices in the future.
