Time Warner is raising the speeds of its Internet offerings to 5Mbps from 3Mbps. Its premium 6Mbps service will ramp up to 8Mbps. NYC will get the faster speeds Tues. TW will roll out the upgrades to the rest of its footprint in Jan. EarthLink, which is also available in some TW markets, is also ramping up to 5Mbps and 8Mbps for the MSO’s subs. TW’s "Road Runner" also has launched Vibe Solutions’ video e-mail application. Comcast launched the app earlier this year.
