Adelphia will discontinue use of TelVue’s telephone-based PPV ordering service, opting instead to put into place a fully automated Interactive Voice Response system. TelVue earns 25% of its revenue from its Adelphia contract; services will be discontinued June 30.— Intellon Corp raised $23.5mln in equity financing, with Comcast [CMCSA] subsidiary Comcast Interactive Captial, EnerTech Capital and Liberty Assoc Partnes leading the round. Intellon makes integrated circuits for high-speed powerline technology. It will use the funding for working capital and development of its "PowerAV" integrated chipsets. The chipsets are due out later this year and are slated to support transmission speeds "well in excess" of 100 Mbps, Intellon says (its current chipsets enable speeds of up to 14 Mbps).
