At Cable-Tec Expo Aurora Networks also demonstrated the successful integration of its Node PON platform with Sigma Systems’ Device Provisioning Manager for DOCSIS equipment provisioning and activation. Sigma’s Device Provisioning Manager automates provisioning and activation of DOCSIS, SIP and FTTx devices. Aurora’s Node PON technology is designed to allow cable operators to cost-effectively evolve their networks and expand bandwidth capacity.
