Aurora Networks is featuring its cell tower backhaul solution along with new components, field units and a transceiver module supporting the platform at Expo. The backhaul solution features the GT3410A T1/E1 Access Module, providing Ethernet-based circuit emulation designed to enable delivery of TDM traffic over high-capacity Ethernet fiber. In other Aurora news, the company’s NC2000 optical node now is available throughout the Americas. The platform is intended for cable operators expanding to the MDU market and low-density rural areas and is designed to enable operators to maximize the bandwidth of existing HFC, Fiber Deep and RFoG deployments.
