ARRIS Group: Following its Motorola Home final acquisition yesterday, the company has revamped its corporate structure a bit. Marwan Fawaz, who oversaw both the operations and sale of Motorola Home during the last 10 months, announced plans to leave the company but will remain on board during the transition. Fawaz will continue as a special consultant for several months.
- All ARRIS solutions have been aligned into two segments: Home Devices and Network & Cloud. Larry Robinson will lead the Home Devices business, while Bruce McClelland will lead the Network & Cloud businesses.
- ARRIS Sales will be two separately run but strategically aligned units: North America and International. Rob McLaughlin will lead the North America Sales team and Global Marketing, while Ron Coppock will lead the International Sales team and Global Sales Operations. Jim Brennan will lead Supply Chain Management and Quality teams.
- Continuing in their current roles are CFO David Potts, leading finance and IT; and Chief Legal Counsel Larry Margolis, who also heads Human Resources.
