Arcom Digital has deployed its Hunter Technology throughout the entire Bright House Networks Florida footprint. This full deployment follows a successful 2008 installation of Hunter in the Tampa market.

“Bright House Networks has made our Hunter technology an integral tool in its day-to-day return path maintenance operation, which allows it to make predictive decisions about its network,” said Greg Tresness, president of Arcom, in a statement. “Hunter enables Bright House Networks technicians to save considerable time determining the location of problems within the network and maintaining service for its customers, often even before they know there is an issue.”

Hunter is a network interrogation and predictive maintenance tool that helps cable companies locate the root cause of network impairments – on top of which is built an intelligent monitoring platform.

"Arcom helps our technicians maintain the entire network and anticipate issues proactively, which minimizes service interruptions to our subscribers. We especially like the ability of Hunter to probe below the noise floor to see problems, which helps us find those intermittent issues that otherwise may be challenging to track down,” said Scott Laris, Bright House Networks vice president/Plant Engineering, in a statement.
