The Anue Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) 5293 – which Ixia says is the industry’s “first and only” carrier-grade, high-density, 40 Gbps network monitoring switch – is the company’s newest addition to its Anue network-visibility product line.?

The Anue NTO 5293 helps providers improve data-center productivity by connecting multiple network monitoring tools to a large number of 40 GbE, 10 GbE and 1 GbE interfaces, thus facilitating end-to-end visibility into the packet network.  ? ?

Key features of the Anue NTO 5293 include:

>> 640 Gbps, non-blocking backplane for as many as 16 40 GbE ports or as many as 64 10 GbE ports in a two-rack unit chassis;

>> Redundant features to help ensure uninterrupted network visibility where high availability is required;

>> An intuitive drag-and-drop control panel that allows users to aggregate, filter and distribute network traffic to monitoring tools with a few mouse clicks – boosting productivity and lowering operating expenses;

>> NEBS Level 1 certified and NEBS Level 3 certification in progress.

In addition, the NTO 5293 uses Anue’s NTO software v3.6, which includes GTP, MPLS and custom dynamic filtering along with support for IPv6 management. ?
