FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein unveiled the FCC’s new digital television (DTV) transition Web site (www.dtv.gov) at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas. The site will provide consumers with local DTV transition support and reception information, along with answers to FAQs about DTV equipment. The site contains additional resources and statistics aimed to assist broadcasters, government officials, businesses, et al.

Doubling Down on Robocall Fight

The FCC is continuing its war against robocalls. The Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau issued a public notice and sent letters to major phone companies and third-party developers of call blocking tools to get updated information on their efforts to block unwanted calls to consumers.
