Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) has signed an agreement to supply two advanced IPTV devices to Norwegian provider Altibox. The devices will enable Altibox to offer its customers an HD IPTV service with PVR functionality. The ADB-2810W set-top box and the ADB-5812WX digital video recorder also offer new levels of content security and memory.

"We chose ADB to supply our new IPTV consumer premise equipment for a number of reasons: the company is a leader in the IPTV space across Europe, and has a good track record in the Nordic region." says Jarle Johnsen, head of engineering TV/Media at Altibox. "It also has an innovative approach to delivering new and compelling functionalities such as the ability to view DivX content, multi-room content convergence, and enhanced 3D graphical user interfaces.”
