Why Him? After quickly shepherding the premium channel to a profit, early TV Everywhere champion Greenberg brought EPIX into the multiplatform realm this year by launching apps that reach viewers on more than 150 devices of all types including phones, tablets, TVs, Roku boxes and EpixHD.com online. 2011 programming initiatives include a foray into boxing, a slate of ‘EPIX DOCS’ documentaries that court a younger, and socially involved audience through compelling stories and Q&A sessions with filmmakers.

New York Story: Working with Verizon FiOS, this summer the company launched a series of 30 free screening events in parks throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.Year Ahead: We’re curious to see where EPIX will turn up next.
