Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Build a strong team to drive results.

Smith has spent the last five years heading up service in Comcast’s back yard of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, overseeing 6,000 employees and 2.1 million customers. She has more than proven herself this past year with the deployment of scores of new business products, the rollout of new ethnic and HD channels, the launch of Xfinity Home Security and—how could we forget—the much-publicized Internet Essentials program launch in the region. All this, in a market where FiOS has 50% video penetration. The powers that be have noticed her efforts. In April 2011, Comcast named her region its System of the Year.
