Why Her? With Gillman leading TWC’s Media Services, media sales surpassed $1 billion in 2012. That’s an all-time record. She brings an exceptional knowledge of the market to client interactions. At the same time, she leads the ad sales team and delivers advanced advertising solutions for advertisers and partners. The whip-smart Gillman used to work in politics, a career move that produced a versatile style of leadership and cultivated a talent for developing strong relationships. Moving forward, expect to see more of a focus on mulitplatform advertising and direct marketing solutions to drive campaigns that are increasingly more adaptable—and therefore more effective. Gillman is a bold leader, in and out of the office. Case in point: Although afraid of heights, she tackled a zipline with clients over a gorge in Costa Rica. Now that’s commitment.
