Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Always do the right thing.

Why Him? In an industry that values relationships above all, the affable Ahn has built a 25-year cable career as both a people’s person and a scrupulous negotiator. He’s elevated his game since joining the Scripps family two years ago, delivering a gaggle of TVE deals with distribution partners and overseeing the company’s first online-only subscription distribution deal in early 2013, with Amazon Prime Instant Video. Next up, Ahn will continue to refine the video experience for Scripps’ existing and new content as HGTV adds nine series this year. That’s in addition to Food Network and Cooking Channel, which have a whopping 20 shows on their uh… plates. Look to Ahn to serve up continued convergence across TV, online and mobile devices.
