17. Jim Samaha
Regional SVP, Keystone Region, Comcast Cable

Years in Cable: 18

Education: MBA

Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Do it to impress yourself, not others.

Samaha’s achievements of late include integrating two new VPs into his team and implementing new HR and customer service models—not to mention his ability to steer the ship through rocky waters. And we are talking literal water. His leadership on hand during the region’s flooding last year led to an excellent field response. The only one in his family not to become a doctor, we hope after 18 years in cable Samaha knows he made the right choice.

My favorite meal that I can also prepare myself: chocolate chip cookies (who says it’s not a meal?)

The top 3 most played selections on my iPod: Amy Winehouse, “You Know I’m No Good”; Jack Johnson, “Upside Down”; James Hunter, “No Smoke Without Fire”

My favorite sports team:
Philadelphia Phillies

My favorite iPad app: MapQuest GPS has saved me probably 100 times

My guilty television pleasure is: Watching “The Bourne Identity,” “Bourne Supremacy” and “Bourne Identity” over and over again.
