Why Him? Still new to the regional beat, this former NCTA lobbyist and head of Comcast’s D.C. office now oversees Comcast’s Mountain Region, covering Utah and Arizona. McSlarrow had already been splitting his time between policy and business operations before he took the new regional position. And with Denver’s Cable Center in the same neck of the woods, it’s fitting that McSlarrow would end up near cable’s cradle of civilization as he beefs up his operational expertise. He’s fast becoming one of the most well-rounded execs in all of cable.
