Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: “It really, really is all about people” (Rich Teerlink, former President of Harley-Davidson)

As the new man in charge of the Comcast’s intense Beltway Region, Coughlin hit the ground running this year by organizing a largely new executive team to meet the hi-tech tastes of the region’s diverse demographic. My favorite business and/or motivational book:  I know it’s 10 years old and some of the companies profiled have certainly not lived up to the book’s title, but I still value the advice and the message of “Good To Great.”?

My favorite sports team:  Alas, I am a long-suffering Cubs fan.  Need I say more?

My favorite vacation spot:  Always the last place I went to, which for now would be Rome.??

If I invented my own app it would… Be able to stream a huge library of movies and TV shows, control my DVR, present a cool guide with incredible search functions across linear and on demand programming…Oh wait, I already have that with the Xfinity iPad app.  Never mind.? ?

How many companies have you worked for since graduating from college?  Four, but the last 25 years with only one company…Comcast
