Whether it’s sports costs, rate hikes, theme parks or the triple play, he provides expert insight. And let’s face it, Comcast is no simple company. It’s approaching Liberty Media terms of complexities, and Angelakis’ background has helped Comcast maintain a strong balance sheet, investment grade rating, as well as return capital to shareholders. His background is diverse. Before joining Comcast in 2007, he was managed Providence Equity Partners, and before that was president and CEO of State Cable TV Corp. and Aurora Telecom. He is well regarded in business, and was just recently named to Institutional Investor Magazine’s “2013 All America Executive Team” as the “Best CFO in Media” according to Buy Side analysts. ?

Denver University Set to Buy Cable Center Building

The Syndeo Institute at The Cable Center has entered into a tentative agreement with the University of Denver to sell the more than 75,000-square-foot building that’s housed the nonprofit educational arm of the cable industry since 2001. Financials weren’t disclosed.
