Michael Angelakis
Title: Vice Chairman/CFO, Comcast Corp.
Education: Babson College, Harvard Business School

Why Him? When Comcast needs to impress at an investor conference, it often sends Angelakis to the stage. Whether it’s sports costs, rate hikes, theme parks or the triple play, he provides expert insight. And let’s face it, Comcast is no simple company. It’s approaching Liberty Media terms of complexities, and Angelakis’ background has helped Comcast maintain a strong balance sheet, investment grade rating, as well as return capital to shareholders. His background is diverse. Before joining Comcast in 2007, he was managed Providence Equity Partners, and before that was president and CEO of State Cable TV Corp. and Aurora Telecom. He is well regarded in business, and was just recently named to Institutional Investor Magazine’s “2013 All America Executive Team” as the “Best CFO in Media” according to Buy Side analysts. ?
