Acme Packet has announced that Cable&Wireless (C&W) Worldwide has deployed Acme Packet’s Net-Net 9200 Session Director (SD) to securely enable its portfolio of business voice services, including C&W Worldwide’s delivery of contact center solutions for its customers.

C&W Worldwide is a communication provider delivering a range of managed voice, data and IP-based services and applications to large corporations, multinational companies, governments, carrier customers and resellers across the UK, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa, Continental Europe and North America.

“As a chassis-based system with modular scalability, the Net-Net 9200 SD is the type of high-end platform that global service providers such as Cable&Wireless are deploying as they move to all IP-based service models,” said Seamus Hourihan, EVP of marketing and product management for Acme Packet, in a statement.
