Why Her? With her promotion from head of marketing, news & online for E! and Style Network, Kolb is keeping busy in the corner office. This year she successfully unified and expanded news entities E! News, E! Online and E! News Now.

Soupy Sales: While E! is identified with shows like “The Soup,” “Chelsea Lately” and the Kardashians franchise, Kolb believes there’s room for scripted series alongside the network’s celebrity-focused fare.

Year Ahead: Kolb is spearheading the network’s brand audit, to be completed by year-end 2012; while keeping E! viewers attentive with returning and newly launched programming. The latter includes Kardashian reality show “Khloe & Lamar” (already renewed for a second and third season), “The Dance Scene,” “Ice Loves Coco” (with Ice-T) and “After Lately,” a second Chelsea Handler vehicle.
