Terry knows how important the engineering field is for women in cable. She is the best example, having worked her way up from an entry-level installer at Comcast in 1986 to senior director of national content operations support at TWC. “Engineering and technology have the biggest opportunities for women, specifically in the areas of software design and systems architecture,” she says.

Be clear in what one wants as an individual and be conscious that everyone has the gift of choice. Equilibrium occurs when we fill our lives with the things that bring us joy – whether they are career, family, friends (or a combination). If one is fulfilled and happy, balance exists.

 

Your favorite trick for unwinding?

Laughing and not taking life so seriously. Conditions constantly change. A 30 to 40 mile ride on my bike.
