Always forward-thinking and agile, O’Connor leads a team that is excelling at connecting Hispanic American viewers with Univision’s array of content across traditional and emerging platforms. Increasingly, those connections are being made in the digital space. She recently oversaw a deal with Verizon to include Univision’s sports, entertainment and VOD content on the go90 mobile platform, and a partnership with Snapchat to bring Univision’s soccer content to millennials via the app. Where are the biggest growth areas for women in cable? “Executive management,” O’Connor says. “We should be running more companies.”

I’m always inspired by people who have an unwavering passion and refuse to let anyone or anything get in their way, including themselves.

 

Your favorite trick for unwinding?

Organizing. Knowing there is order in my life, makes me very at ease.
