New York, NY — April 14, 2026 — Cablefax, the trusted voice of the cable and broadband industry for more than three decades, today announced its rebrand to CFX, marking a significant evolution in both name and scope.

The new identity reflects the transformation of the industry itself—from traditional cable to a dynamic, interconnected ecosystem spanning broadband, streaming, advertising, mobile, data and emerging technologies.

“CFX represents where our industry is today—and where it’s going,” said Amy Maclean, Editorial Director of CFX. “While Cablefax has always been rooted in deep industry expertise, the business we cover has expanded far beyond what that name suggests. CFX allows us to better reflect the full landscape and the leaders shaping it.”

As the business journal for convergent media, CFX will deliver expanded coverage across connectivity, streaming platforms, audience monetization, AI and ad tech, sports rights and distribution economics—areas increasingly shaping the future of the industry.

The rebrand builds on the strong foundation established by Cablefax, including its widely read daily newsletter, quarterly magazine, industry-leading awards programs and podcast, all of which will continue under the CFX name.

CFX serves a highly engaged audience of senior decision-makers across leading companies including Comcast NBCUniversal, Fox Corporation, Charter Communications and Cox Communications, as well as a broader ecosystem of media, technology and advertising leaders.

As part of the rebrand, the company will also introduce the inaugural CFX 100 on April 23, a reimagined version of its long-running annual Cablefax 100 list recognizing the most influential executives shaping the future of the industry.

“CFX is more than a new name—it’s a reflection of the role we play in this industry,” added Maclean. “We’re excited to continue evolving alongside the companies and leaders we cover.”
