Reauthorization of the satellite bill expiring at the end of ’14 is expected to end up fairly clean, House Communications subcmte head Greg Walden (R-OR) said on C-SPAN’s “The Communicators,” which airs Sat and Mon. No specifics yet on the much-anticipated Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act (STELA), but Walden said he’ll “continue down a very methodical path” to tackle “one thing at a time, and not have all of these other things hooked on.” Here’s more from Walden on retrains reform, Aereo and FCC chmn candidate Tom Wheeler.
