The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) has announced that The Cable Show 2010 will be held May 11-13, 2010, as part of “Cable Connection – Spring” in Los Angeles.  The 59th annual convention and international exposition will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the neighboring Nokia Theater. The convention will be co-chaired by Matthew Blank, chairman and CEO, Showtime Networks, and Glenn Britt, chairman, president and CEO, Time Warner Cable.

Returning to Los Angeles for the first time since its 1996 convention, NCTA announced that it will utilize both the downtown Los Angeles Convention Center for exhibition and meeting space, and the new Nokia Theater, an adjacent facility, as the locale for the convention’s General Sessions. The Nokia Theater is home to a wide array of entertainment industry events, including the Emmy Awards.
