Aurora Networks took the wraps off a trio of new PON optical network terminals (ONTs): ONT-G4021-RTN-FRU-C (designed for outdoor deployment), ONT-E4021i-RTN (designed for indoor deployment and featuring four 1000Base-T, two POTs and one RF port plus a Residential Gateway feature and special functionality to simplify set-top-box RF return transport) and ONT-E2424F (for MDUs and businesses, and featuring 24x100Base-T and 24 POTs ports)…In the MDU section of the show, Corning Cable Systems will show off its FlexNAP Façade and RPDpass Indoor Preconnectorized Solutions. The FlexNAP Façade MDU Solution makes optical fiber deployment in an outdoor riser MDU possible when traditional indoor options are unavailable; each floor in the MDU is serviced with an OptiTip Connector for a simple multi-fiber plug-and-play application. The RPDpass Indoor Preconnectorized Solution offers quick connection of riser segments and drop cables.
