Media entertainment delivery service provider Alticast tapped Bill Helms as chief architect and svp of technology. The cable industry vet with more than 30 patents to his name was most recently vp of subscriber engineering and technology at Time Warner Cable. In his new role, he will report to Alticast CTO John Carlucci.
