Calif.-based Tapjoy Inc. signed a MOU with South Korea’s SK Planet, “establishing a strategic alliance that will bring both companies further success in a rapidly growing mobile advertising market,” it says. Tapjoy expects to expand its global footprint through SK Planet’s T Store, which reportedly has more than 15 million subscribers and 300,000 content offerings, while Korean developers will be able to reach a broader user base offshore via Tapjoy’s global presence. The two companies also will execute joint marketing promotions as part of their app-development program; select T Store apps will be given marketing funds via Tapjoy’s platform…Content storage manager Front Porch Digital says Spanish audiovisual services provider Telson installed a second DIVArchive system in Madrid, aimed at serving as a disaster recovery site — the only video-archive disaster-recovery implementation in Spain.
